Artist's Description
Completed in 2011, this work is based on a vision or visitation that the artist's father experienced in the late 1950's at a time when his mother (artist's grandmother) was suffering from cancer. The full story and a description of the symbolism in the final work will be posted on my blog soon (http://inart-el-fen.blogspot.com).
Special thanks to Allen N Lehman of FAA for permitting me the use of the face in his "Study of Love". The face expression in that work seemed perfect for my purposes and I hope my sketch does it justice. Thanks Allen.
